Konect Aviation Oregon Flight School Receives AOPA Award

Presented At Recent Redbird Migration In San Marcos, TX

Among the flight schools recognized by AOPA with Flight Training Excellence Awards at the recent Redbird Migration Flight Training Conference in San Marcos, TX was Konect Aviation Oregon based in McMinnville.

The awards are based on the results of the 2016 Flight Training Poll and recognize and celebrate those who provide a customer experience that supports student pilots and facilitates their entry into all aspects of the aviation community.

Konect Aviation was awarded a position on the "honor roll", representing the top 9% of the flight schools mentioned by respondents in the poll and top 3% nationwide.

"AOPA's Flight Training Excellence Awards recognize outstanding flight schools and instructors, and the more than 11,300 individuals who responded to the poll have identified the top flight training providers," said Director of AOPA’s Flight Training Initiative Chris Moser.

Konect Aviation Oregon provides airplane and helicopter flight training in addition to scenic tours, wine tasting flights, special occasion and transportation flights. Konect Aviation also operates as the airport office (FBO) providing fuel and concierge services to the aviation community at the McMinnville Municipal Airport.

Holly (pictured, right) and Ingo (left) Nehls have been operating the company for over 6 years. “We are honored to be one of the nation's top flight schools,” says Holly, manager and owner. “We give our customers the best experience, no matter if it is a short scenic ride or training that changes the path of your life forever.” added Ingo.
