Raytheon's Mexico Facility Gets FAA Certification

Now Part 145 Repair Station

So you say you're flying south of the border, but you're worried about what will happen if you need maintenance work done on your aircraft? Worry no more, says Raytheon. The Raytheon Aircraft Services facility in Toluca has been awarded FAA Part 145 certification.

The Wichita Business Journal reports the certificate clears the way for the Toluca facility to work on Beechcraft and Hawker products, along with Falcon 50s and Lear 20s, 30s and 60s.

Company executives say they started working on certification for the RAS-Toluca station last year. It's part of an effort to bring North American facilities outside the US more in line with FAA regulations.
