EAA, Meet eBay

Group Holds First Online Auction

The bidding on many unique, attractive items is underway in response to EAA’s first venture into the world of on-line commerce in the eBay marketplace. Relics and collectibles from aviation’s past, flight experiences, VIP tours through aviation history, stunning aviation art—these and other novel, hard-to-find items are available at reasonable bidding levels.

Proceeds from sales will benefit EAA’s efforts to inspire and educate youth, to preserve aviation’s history, and to provide enriched participation in aviation to members. A catalog of the auction offerings is available on EAA’s “About Me” page on eBay.

The items include a damaged propeller taken from EAA’s Aluminum Overcast, original skin pieces from a 1929 Ford Tri-Motor, a sophisticated Wright Flyer simulator, a hand-made pedal plane child’s vehicle, and an assortment of other items appealing to aviation enthusiasts.

Use the above link to browse EAA’s auction offerings and to ensure that your purchase benefits EAA’s mission. Please note: General searches using “EAA” and associated keywords yields a broad variety of postings that are not necessarily related to EAA, its offerings, or this auction.

The on-line auction continues through December 10, 2004.
