Mobile Support Vehicle, Renovated Customer Lobby Among The
Enhancements
Gulfstream has added to the services available to operators with
the addition of a mobile support vehicle and a renovated customer
lobby at its Brunswick, GA, facility.
"The Brunswick location and its nearly 200 employees are a very
important part of our Product Support network," said Mark Burns,
president, Gulfstream Product Support. "The staff there is big
enough to handle all the maintenance, repair and refurbishment
needs of customers while also offering personalized service. The
addition of a mobile support vehicle gives our already fast-moving
response teams even greater capabilities. They can travel at a
moment's notice to support aircraft-on-ground situations."
Brunswick's specially outfitted truck includes an air
compressor, generator, toolbox and a laptop computer to signoff
work in real time. With these resources, technicians can perform or
support a variety of maintenance services. The vehicle can also
transport a wide range of replacement parts. In addition,
Gulfstream has renovated its Brunswick customer lobby. The space,
which has wireless Internet service, includes a 52-inch
high-definition flat-screen television, new furniture, framed
photographs of Gulfstream aircraft and a glass display case.
Gulfstream Brunswick's nearly 25,000-foot service center hangar
recently was upgraded with a renovated door and large ceiling fans.
In early 2012, the metal halide lighting in the hangar will be
replaced by energy-efficient induction fluorescent lighting.
Other enhancements completed at Gulfstream Brunswick in 2011
include the addition of ramp space adjacent to the completions
hangar and upgraded landscaping at the customer entrance.
