Inhofe Campaign Ad Features RV-8

Oklahoma Senator Uses The Airplane To Stay In Touch With Constituents

U.S. Senator James Inhofe makes no apologies for his airplane, a Van's RV-8 that was in Oshkosh this summer.

The Republican senator has released a campaign ad that shows him flying the airplane, and explaining how it helps him stay in touch with his constituents across the state.

"I can hit more Oklahoma towns in a day listening and helping more people in a day than I could in a week of driving," Inhofe says in the spot.

An announcer says "435 visits so far," with a graphic saying "since 2009."

As Inhofe executes an aileron roll in his Van's, he is heard to say "I'm Jim Inhofe, and I not only approved this message ... I enjoyed it."
