Columbia Aircraft Adds Three New Int'l Sales Centers

Companies Will Represent Columbia 350 and 400 in Brazil, France and Poland

Columbia Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation (CAM) has announced that it has appointed new International Sales Centers serving Brazil, France and Poland. The firms will market, sell and support the Columbia 350 and 400 certified aircraft models in those countries.

"Our production capacity has increased dramatically and we're committed to growing our distribution and support networks internationally," said CAM Vice President of Marketing and Sales Randy S. Bolinger. "We've already established representation in more than a dozen countries with partners who share our corporate values of providing exceptionally high levels of service and support. We've taken considerable measures to ensure that our new partners in Brazil, France and Poland are high-profile aviation companies with excellent reputations and capabilities that will exceed the expectations of our customers."

Brazil

Columbia do Brasil, will serve Brazil from its base of operations at Campos do Marte airport in Sao Paulo. Columbia do Brasil will operate from the same facility where Audi Helic.pteros runs the world's largest Robinson Helicopters distributorship and HeliSolutions, Brazil's only legally approved fractional ownership program.

The company's principal, Jim Cable, has extensive experience in nearly all facets of Brazil's general, corporate and commercial aviation market. Cable is a former senior executive with Embraer and was directly involved in that company's launch of its Regional Jet Program as well as their highly successful Corporate Aircraft Division and the Legacy aircraft.

France

Located in the Savoy region of southeastern France, Columbia Aircraft of France is a division of Euro Rectimo Aviation. Originally founded in 1958, the company has a rich aviation heritage selling and servicing a variety of personal and corporate aircraft including helicopters. The Desmurs family took over in 1990 and established a comprehensive sales and service facility at Aeroport de Chambery. Their 38 employees are skilled in all facets of aviation sales and service including line maintenance, engine overhauls, avionics, composites and flight training. France is an important European market, ranking fourth in the number of registered pilots.

Poland

Columbia of Poland principal Jan Borowski (J.B. Investments Ltd.) founded Poland’s original Mercedes-Benz dealership and is now also the exclusive representative for Columbia Aircraft in the country. Borowski’s aviation company currently operates a sales and service facility at Konstancin, a few miles south of Warsaw. The Columbia of Poland facility includes a private runway, fuel and 7,000 square foot heated hangar for service.
