Teamster Dispatchers, NetJets Reach Agreement In Principle

Framework For Dispatchers' First Contract Established

Teamsters Local 284 and NetJets have reached an agreement in principle for the 48 dispatchers employed at NetJets. This will be the first contract for the dispatchers since they voted to join the Teamsters.

"I'm proud of our dispatchers," said Capt. David Bourne, Director of the Teamsters Airline Division. "These workers fought bravely to get their union and now they're close to getting their first contract. I'm glad we've been able to work productively with the company to get these negotiations to this point."

"I'd like to thank the negotiating committee for all of their hard work at the table," said Paul Suffoletto, President of Local 284 in Columbus. "The workers were able to work professionally and proficiently with company negotiators to resolve outstanding issues. I am looking forward to working with the airline to finalize this agreement and deliver a long-awaited contract."

The Teamsters will work with the company in the next few weeks to finalize the agreement and determine final contract language.
