Diamond Announces New Incentive Program For DA-40s

Two Years Of Free Fuel And Maintenance!

Diamond Aircraft has unveiled a program that will cover fuel and maintenance costs for up to two years on any new or demostrator Diamond DA-40 single engine airplane purchased from now until the end of 2005, the company announced Saturday.

Similar to programs currently being offered on high-end automobiles such as Audi, BMW and Volkswagen, the announcement comes as nationwide prices for 100LL avgas are coming dangerously close to $6 per gallon -- or more.

"No aircraft squeezes more performance out of each gallon of fuel than a Diamond. And no aircraft offers the combination of advanced technology, performance, safety and value that a Diamond does," says a statement on the Diamond Aircraft website.

"With Diamond you get fuel efficiency, reliability, low insurance rates and maximum safety and utility."

Of course, some restrictions apply... but even with the disclaimer, this still seems like a heckuva deal.
