Features Full HD Display, Multi-Core Processing

Esterline CMC Electronics (CMC) showed its new-generation, aviation grade Tablet Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), the PilotView CMA-1310 as well as its CMA-1525 compact Aircraft Information Server (AIS), at NBAA-BACE 2016.

The PilotView CMA-1310 Tablet EFB features full HD display resolution and Intel multi-core processing capabilities for cockpit and situational awareness applications. The high-resolution 10.1” Electronic Display Unit has a fully dimmable, multi-touch screen. Flexibility is at the core of the Tablet EFB’s integrated suite of communication interfaces. The avionics grade hardware package is certified to DO-160G.

Claude Chidiac, Vice President, Products, Strategy & Customer Support, said: “Pilots will appreciate the new format, display processing power of our Tablet PilotView EFB.  The AIS works with the CMA-1310 EFB or other tablets to secure connectivity with aircraft systems as well as aircraft-ground communications (wireless, satcom). This platform enables our customers to introduce advanced flight ops applications and highly innovative functionalities to the aircraft.”

The PilotView EFB family of products is offered as a standard option on business aircraft, including the Dassault Falcon 900, 2000 and 7X, Embraer Legacy 600/650, Bombardier Challenger 600 series business jets, and by Boeing for the Next-Generation B737s and BBJs. In addition, PilotView products are on numerous air transport aircraft such as the Bombardier C Series, ATR, Embraer E-jets (170/190), the Airbus A320 and A330, and the Boeing B737, B747, B757 and B767.
