Incentive Packages Offered On New X-Edition or Xi
Following Friday's debut of the new SR22T, Cirrus Aircraft
announced two incentive programs that make upgrading to a new
Cirrus easier than ever.
Beginning immediately and through the end of EAA AirVenture
Oshkosh on July 31, 2010, any new order for either an X-Edition or
Xi personalized SR-series piston airplane will include air
conditioning as part of the X or Xi package as no additional
cost.
For owners in the U.S. selling their current Cirrus and
upgrading to a new model, when brokered through Cirrus Certified
with a new order placed by July 31, Cirrus will apply the normal
4.9 percent brokerage fee as a credit on the new airplane purchase.
And when the brokered aircraft meets Cirrus Certified requirements,
Cirrus will also enhance the warranty on the pre-owned airplane to
six full months or 100 hours - spinner to tail - further increasing
its value in resale market.
"We've been listening to our customers. They've asked for more
value in their new airplane purchase and in reselling their
existing Cirrus to upgrade to a new one," said Vice President of
Domestic Sales Jon Dauplaise. "Earlier this year we announced the
availability of Air Conditioning across the entire piston product
line, including SR20. Not an STC or aftermarket installation, our
air conditioning system - installed right on the production line -
is very robust. Summer's here and there is no better time to take
advantage of this limited offer to make air conditioning part of
your new X-Edition or Xi personalized Cirrus."
"We are also sensitive to customers that want additional
assistance in selling their current Cirrus," Dauplaise added. "Now
that we are seeing stability return to the pre-owned Cirrus market
- and coupling this resale offer with unique Cirrus features like
the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS), Flight Into Known
Icing capability, Cirrus Perspective by Garmin avionics and the
just-announced 22T - there has never been a better time to
upgrade."
