Night Flight Concepts Announces Night Vision Goggle Course Approval

FAA Part 141 Approval For Initial, Recurrent, And Instructor NVG Courses

Night Flight Concepts (NFC), says it has received FAA FAR Part 141 approval for NVG Initial, Recurrent, and Instructor Pilot courses.

The approved NVG courses offered by Night Flight Concepts are part of a strategic alignment effort between NFC and Palm Beach Helicopters. Since 2006, Night Flight Concepts and Palm Beach Helicopters have combined their capabilities and experience to offer night vision flight instruction. More than a year ago, this alignment effort brought to industry the first NVG Robinson R-44. This aircraft was equipped for NVG operations through the FAA STC process by REB Technologies of Bedford, Texas. NVG training may be conducted in both the Bell 206 and Robinson R44 at the Palm Beach, Florida location. Night Flight Concepts together with Palm Beach Helicopters can offer highly experienced NVG instructors, well equipped and maintained aircraft with training options from Private Pilot up to Airline Transport Pilot (ATP).

"We are proud to be one of very few FAR Part 141 NVG provider approved by the FAA. Our company utilizes the FAA TSO approved Night Vision Goggles (NVG) and is the only civilian NVG training provider using the Night Readiness, LLC Virtual Terrain Board (VTB)", said Randy Rowles, VP Business Development for Night Flight Concepts. "We feel our alignment with Palm Beach Helicopters provides a robust and comprehensive training solution to the industry."
