Covers Most New Boeing, Airbus Airliners
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical
University's Worldwide Campus, through its Office of Professional
Education, is expanding its online course offerings to support the
continuing education of professional pilots.
ERAU recently launched a series of aviation specialty courses to
cover new technologies and processes for flight crews. These new
aircraft-specific ground schools are now available to cover the
most modern airliners manufactured by Boeing and Airbus.
"We believe professional pilots, particularly our thousands of
alumni, require superior options for continuing education in
support of their careers," said Dr. Thorsten Hisam,
Embry-Riddle’s director of Professional Education. "These new
online courses will allow pilots to better prepare for an
employer’s ground school, excel in job interviews, and expand
their overall knowledge."
The aircraft-specific ground schools cover all technical and
operational details for the aircraft, in an online learning
environment that provides the flexibility to study at any place and
at any time.
Embry-Riddle is the world’s largest, fully accredited
university specializing in aviation and aerospace, offers more than
30 degree programs in its colleges of Arts and Sciences, Aviation,
Business, and Engineering. The university educates more than 34,000
students annually in undergraduate and graduate programs at
residential campuses in Prescott, AZ and Daytona Beach, FL, as well
as worldwide at more than 30 centers in the United States, Canada,
Europe, and the Middle East, and through online learning.
