With an initial order of two DA42 NGs, Phoenix East Aviation
also plans to upgrade their existing DA42 TDIs with Austro Engine
AE 300 powerplants and will eventually migrate their entire
multi-engine fleet to the DA42 NG. Ghassan Reslan, CEO of Phoenix
East, accepted delivery of their first
DA42 NG this week at AOPA Summit.
"The Diamond DA42 NG offers our students, who are pursuing
professional pilot careers, the most advanced multi-engine training
platform in the industry," Reskab said. "With the DA42 NG's
state-of-the-art engines, airframe, and avionics technologies, our
students will be well prepared for careers as jet pilots."
The DA42 NG is built on an all-carbon airframe. It features
FADEC controlled, single power lever, twin turbo-diesel Austro AE
300 engines, and the Garmin G1000 integrated glass cockpit
including the GFC 700 Automated Flight Control System and Synthetic
Vision Technology (SVT).
"With the introduction of the DA42 NG, Diamond Aircraft is
pleased to expand its relationship with Phoenix East Aviation,"
said David Moser, Director of Fleet Sales for Diamond Aircraft.
"With unprecedented fuel economy, stellar performance, and
exceptional reliability, we are confident that Phoenix East will be
thrilled with their selection of the DA42 NG."
