Albuquerque, New Mexico’s Double Eagle II Airport will host a groundbreaking ceremony celebrating the start of construction on hangars for 50 aircraft, greatly expanding the GA footprint of the region. Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller will be on hand along with a handful of local stakeholders, congratulating High Flying Hangars, LLC on their upcoming work. A Texas court has ruled that online allegations made by controversial YouTuber Dan Gryder against Texas pilot and airport-owner Charles Cook were false and defamatory. The Airplane Impacted A Bean Field And Came To Rest Upright

On August 8, 2023, about 1150 central daylight time, an Air Tractor AT-802 airplane, N804AA, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Gilman City, Missouri. The pilot was fatally injured. The flight was conducted under Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 137 as an aerial application flight. A witness to the accident stated that he was driving south on State Highway K near the water tower when he first saw the airplane. Aero Linx: British Model Flying Association The BMFA is the National Governing Body for the sport of model flying. Its aims are to promote, protect, organise and encourage model flying within the UK. The NRS is a system of waypoints developed for use within the United States for flight planning and navigation without reference to ground based navigational aids. The NRS waypoints are located in a grid pattern along defined latitude and longitude lines. The initial use of the NRS will be in the high altitude environment. The NRS waypoints are intended for use by aircraft capable of point-to-point navigation.
