Two can play at that game. In response to a second straight day
of missile tests by its belligerent Islamic neighbor, on Thursday
the state of Israel publicly displayed the advanced reconnaissance
plane it says can keep a close watch over goings-on in Iran. The
unveiling comes as tensions between the two countries, and the US,
continue to increase.
Raytheon announced this week it recently achieved a significant
production milestone, with the delivery of the 3,000th AIM-9X
short-range air-to-air missile.
Acting USAF Chief Says Selection Process Wasn't "Fatally

As expected, both Boeing and Northrop Grumman -- competitors for
the hotly-contested KC-X contract,
which was thrown open for rebid once again
Wednesday -- each gave measured praise for the
Department of Defense's decision to take over selection authority
for the contract from the US Air Force.
