Boeing EMARSS Aircraft Completes 1st Test Flight

Intelligence, Surveillance And Reconnaissance Aircraft Flies For 4 Hours

A U.S. Army and Boeing team completed the first flight of the first of four Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System (EMARSS) Engineering, Manufacturing and Development aircraft on May 22. The aircraft was in the air for more than four hours and completed all first-flight test objectives.

Video Of A German UAV Nearly Colliding With An Airliner Leaked

Two Aircraft Reportedly Missed Impact By Just Six Feet

Classified video from an incident which occurred in 2004 over Afghanistan in which a German Luna UAV came with about six feet of colliding with an Afghan Airbus A300 with 100 people on board has surfaced on the Internet. The video, which was taken from the UAVs on board camera, shows the the two aircraft nearly colliding, and then the drone becoming caught in the airliner's wake turbulence.

New Radar System Flight-Tested Aboard Diamond DA42 Guardian

Thales I-Master Demonstrates 'Outstanding Performance'

Thales’s I-Master radar system has successfully completed flight trials onboard a Diamond DA42MPP Guardian aircraft. Conducted in partnership with Diamond Aircraft Industries and Diamond Airborne Sensing at its facility in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, the week-long trial covered different radar modes at a range of altitudes and speeds.
