Next week isn't soon enough. That's the message the public
relations department at Boeing had this week, as it announced its
request for an "immediate debriefing" from US Air Force officials
on the KC-X tanker competition.

Simulator To Be Used In Training Of Maintenance Personnel
The Polish Air Force has selected the Rockwell Collins F-16C
Modular Simulated Aircraft Maintenance Trainer (MSAMT) for the
training of the aircraft's maintenance personnel. The trainer is
scheduled to be delivered in April 2008.
System Intended For KC-45A Passes Gas For First Time
It was a good way for EADS to follow up last week's somewhat
surprising announcement of its win for the US Air Force's KC-X
tanker contract. On Friday, the European aerospace consortium told
Reuters it had carried out the first successful test of the
upcoming KC-45A's refueling boom.

Goodrich Corporation announced Tuesday the recent appointment of
Mike Roller as Vice President, Government Programs. Roller, former
Director of Air Force Programs for Goodrich, reports to Bill
Lennox, Senior Vice President, Washington.
