Raytheon Awarded A $15.5 Million Contract For Open Architecture Development
The US Navy has awarded a $15.5 million system development contract to Raytheon Company to develop a flexible, application-based architecture (ABA) for the P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft. The ABA will allow mission commanders to rapidly field new or enhanced capabilities through third-party software applications.
Conducts F-16 Familiarization Training For Emergency Responses
Airmen at Andersen AFB in Guam flew to the nearby island of Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI), Feb. 12, to familiarize and assist Saipan International Airport firefighters on safety procedures and hazards when responding to emergencies involving F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft.
