USAF Pilots Bail, Cropduster Killed

A USAF T-37 jet trainer from Sheppard AFB has been involved in a Tuesday midair collision with a crop dusting aircraft. The collision shortly before noon local time at an altitude estimated at 5000 feet. The collision occurred over rural southwestern Oklahoma.

USAF Secretary Roche Retires

Airmen, along with servicemembers from more than 14 nations, bid farewell to the 20th Secretary of the Air Force Jan. 18th. Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz presented Air Force Secretary Dr. James G. Roche the Department of Defense award for distinguished public service upon his retirement.
