Bombardier’s new-generation Global Express XRS business
jet has successfully completed a rigorous 4-hour, 4-minute first
flight, marking a significant milestone for the much-anticipated
intercontinental aircraft. The flight occurred Jan. 16, according
to the program schedule established at official launch in October
2003. The first Certificate of Airworthiness is expected shortly
and customer deliveries of completed aircraft are on schedule to
begin in the first quarter of 2006.
Wide-Cabin, High-Speed G150 On Schedule for First Customer
Delivery in 3Q/06
Gulfstream Aerospace has roiled out the first wide-cabin,
high-speed G150 business jet aircraft. First announced in September
2002, the G150 remains on schedule for customer deliveries in the
third quarter of 2006.
Last Sunday, January 16, 2005, PrivatAir launched its new
business class only private airline service between Zurich and New
York's Newark airport on behalf of Swiss International Air Lines.
