Congratulations are in order for the lucky raffle winner, Bob Cowgill (EAA# 607430) on winning the 1946 Piper J-3C-90 Cub restored by EAA’s Clark Ellis (EAA# 607430), and our consolation to the holders of the 2,999 other tickets that missed out in snagging the Cub. During the 2022 EAA AirVenture, the EAA Aviation Foundation held a raffle to raise money for the EAA’s aviation programs. It’s mission is four-fold; “to educate, engage, empower, and inspire the aviators and enthusiasts of tomorrow”.
