moving propeller in the run-up area of runway 34 at Beverly Airport
(KBVY) in Beverly, Massachusetts last last week.

with a statement from AOPA Boss Craig Fuller expressing outrage
about the story that ANN broke yesterday afternoon in which John
King outlined his (and Martha's) errant detention, at gunpoint, by
the Santa Barbara Police department after they landed at KSBA on
Saturday.
Folks; I don't have to tell you that the plight of aviation is
not a healthy one right now -- this industry is dying the death of
a thousand cuts... and here's stunning evidence that we're all in
serious trouble. Two of aviation's best known figures, and experts
in virtually segments of sport, general and business aviation were
held and detained at gunpoint just 24 hours ago... by the Santa
Barbara Police Department -- and based on what was
eventually/admittedly false info.

A letter from Cessna's Roger Whyte has begun circulating in
which the Cessna Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing admits to additional
delays in the much-delayed and long-awaited Cessna Skycatcher LSA
program.Whyte notes that, "Currently, eight Skycatchers have been
delivered to their owners and are out flying today and activity at
the reassembly plant in Wichita is increasing (photo enclosed). At
EAA's AirVenture in late July, crowds enthusiastically responded to
the Skycatchers that Cessna and EAA each had on display and our
sales team was actively conducting demonstrations in the
