Avidyne has taken the wraps off the long-rumored Vantage Flight Display Systems, and disclosed that their first Vantage certification program will be a dual 12-inch diagonal upgrade for legacy SR20/SR22 aircraft with the Entegra Flight Deck. The Lark of Duluth Flying Boat To Debut At Airventure

Duluth Aviation Institute Donated The 2013 Replica To The EAA Aviation Foundation on December 3, 2020

The replica of the 1913 Lark of Duluth Benoist Type XIV flying boat will debut at the 2021 Oshkosh Airventure. The replica will be exhibited with the 1903 Wright Flyer replica and Curtiss A-1 Pusher Sweetheart in the Pioneers of Flight area of the EAA Aviation Museum. The Duluth Aviation Institute donated the 2013 replica to the EAA Aviation Foundation on December 3, 2020 to preserve and exhibit this significant aircraft for the public and in perpetuity.

Airplane... Veered Left And Pitched Up, Then Descended And Tumbled On The Ground

On July 1, 2021, about 0755 central daylight time, a Cirrus SR22 airplane, N123RE, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident at Lamoni Municipal Airport (LWD), Lamoni, Iowa. The private pilot and passenger sustained fatal injuries. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. A review of preliminary air traffic control (ATC) information revealed that the airplane departed about 0640 from Millard Airport (MLE), Omaha, Nebraska, and flew a visual approach at 0735 to Creston Municipal Airport (CSQ), Creston, Iowa.
