Letter Stresses Importance Of GA Airports To Local Communities

The Alliance for Aviation Across America, League of Rural Voters, National Farmers Union, Air Care Alliance, and National Agricultural Aviation Association have sent a letter to Congress concerning the upcoming FAA reauthorization. The letter specifically highlights the need to protect the interests of small airports and rural communities in the process, and urges Congress to retain oversight of the national aviation system.

Airplanes Collided While Landing And Remained Stuck Together After Collision And Impact With The Ground, Student Pilot Seriously Injured

One person was seriously injured when two Cessna airplanes ... a 172 and a 185 ... collided in mid-air while landing at Talkeetna Airport, Talkeetna, Alaska. However, most of the people involved walked away unscathed, according to the NTSB.
