Forefront Aerospace Services has formally announced the acquisition of Airflight Aerospace, an EASA/FAA Part 145 Repair Station focused on electromechanical aircraft parts. The station has long served the usual gamut of commercial, civil, business, and military components from its South Florida location. On 14 April 2023, Thornton Aviation announced the availability, for sale, of a T-38A. The company’s website sets forth the "basic 'core' package" of the jet is available for sale, and can be refurbished with customizations to suit the buyer. NTSB Prelim: Beech 58P

Witness Then Looked Up At The Airplane And Saw It In A Left Bank

On March 17, 2023, about 1136 central daylight time, a Beech Baron 58P, N2061K, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Lubbock, Texas. The pilot sustained fatal injuries. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. The airplane arrived at Lubbock Executive Airpark, Lubbock, Texas, where several passengers from the airplane were dropped off. About 1130, the airplane engines started, and about 1135, the airplane began its takeoff on runway 35.
