State Is In 'Preliminary Talks' With Eklutna, Inc.
The Alaska Department of Transportation (DOT) is reportedly in early talks with Eklutna, Inc., the largest private landowner in Anchorage, to become a sponsor of Birchwood Airport (PABV).
The FAA has published a proposed AD in the Federal Register for certain Piper Aircraft, Inc. Models PA–28–140, PA–28–150, PA–28–160, PA–28–180, PA–28–235, PA–32–260, and PA–32– 300 airplanes.

Garmin has rolled out the latest software upgrade for the GTN 650/750 touchscreen series. New GTN features include visual approach guidance, control and display of the GTX 3000 transponder and GTS 8000 Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS II)/Airborne Collision Avoidance System (ACAS II), as well as LNAV+V approaches without Space-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) service.
