Says FAA Funding Plan Does Not Do Enough To Curb Delays
Some potential bad news for H.R. 2881, the House plan to
reauthorize funding for the Federal Aviation Administration. On
Wednesday, the White House threatened to veto the measure should it
come across the President's desk.
"We wouldn't create a product that isn't safe for the
flying public. We fly on those airplanes. Our children fly on those
airplanes."

responding to claims made by a fired Boeing engineer that the
upcoming composite-bodied 787's structure isn't as crash-resistant
