Glideslope Intercept Altitude The published minimum altitude to intercept the glideslope in the intermediate segment of an instrument approach. Government charts use the lightning bolt symbol to identify this intercept point. This intersection is called the Precise Final Approach fix (PFAF). ATC directs a higher altitude, the resultant intercept becomes the PFAF.

Aero Linx: The T-34 Association The T-34 Association, Inc. is a non-profit corporation promoting the safe enjoyment of the Beechcraft T-34 Mentor. The Mentor is known for its honest flight characteristics, aerobatic capabilities, and formation flying. The tandem seat trainer was built for the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and many other military training commands around the world. As such, the T-34 is a true Warbird and a welcomed guest at all airshows. Membership in the T-34 Association is open to anyone with interest in the Mentor. We have members around the world.
