A fairing used to give shape, but not strength to an object. A
fillet produces a smooth junction where two surfaces meet. Fillets
are often used to produce a smooth, aerodynamically clean junction
between the wing and fuselage of an airplane.
The 457th Bomb Group Association welcomes ALL who wish to become
members. Certainly, all veterans of the 457th Bomb Group and their
family and friends are eligible, and, we also welcome all others
who have an interest in maintaining the 457th Bomb Group
Association and keeping alive the memory of those who served their
country while flying with the 457th in WWII.
