Airborne-Flight Training 06.17.20: Purdue Degree, eTrainer, Virtual Med Exam

Purdue University Global has launched its professional flight program and will begin training students through its flight training affiliate, Sterling Flight Training LLC, this fall. Students may now apply to enroll in the online Bachelor of Science in Professional Flight program. Those accepted into the School of Aviation program will complete their Bachelor of Science degree courses online through Purdue Global, which includes aviation and general education classes, while completing professional flight training

ANN's Daily Aero-Term (06.30.20): Terminal Arrival Area (TAA)

Terminal Arrival Area (TAA) The TAA is controlled airspace established in conjunction with the Standard or Modified T and I RNAV approach configurations. In the standard TAA, there are three areas: straight-in, left base, and right base. The arc boundaries of the three areas of the TAA are published portions of the approach and allow aircraft to transition from the en route structure direct to the nearest IAF. TAAs will also eliminate or reduce feeder routes, departure extensions, and procedure turns or course reversal.
