Port Columbus To Celebrate 90th Anniversary July 13th

Hangar One Celebration Will Also Honor The 50th Anniversary Of Man’s First Steps On The Moon By Ohio Astronaut Neil Armstrong

Several state and local historical groups have together organized two special public events, one free and one ticketed, to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of Port Columbus on Saturday, July 13, 2019, in the very buildings dedicated in 1929 to serve as the city’s first commercial airport terminal and aircraft hangar. The Columbus Historical Society, Columbus Landmarks, Ohio Air & Space Hall of Fame and Museum, Ohio History Connection, and Preserve Original Columbus Air Terminal together have collaborated with the support of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority (CRAA) in planning the milestone celebration.
