The CAF's C-47 transport airplane That's All, Brother is a pretty special airplane. It has the distinction of being the first aircraft to cross into Europe on D-Day.  Last week, the airplane had a pretty special passenger. Dick Cole, who is the last surviving person who flew the famous Doolittle Raid over Tokyo in 1942, was aboard as the CAF commemorated the anniversary of the D-Day invasion. A GippsAero GA 10 turboprop airplane went down June 4 during flight testing at the Mojave Air and Space Port, resulting in the likely destruction of the airplane. The accident occurred around 1100 local time on June 4. The airplane was being flight tested at the National Test Pilot School, which was performing flight analysis for GippsAero, according to NTPS spokesman Dr. Alan Peterson.
