An NTSB report on the Boeing 787 fire of a lithium-ion battery that occurred in January of 2013 has been issued. At that time, ground workers discovered smoke and flames coming from an auxiliary power unit lithium-ion battery in a Japan Airlines 787 that was parked at the gate at Boston Logan International Airport.
