AEA has released its third-quarter 2019 Avionics Market Report. In the first nine months of the year, total worldwide business and general aviation avionics sales amounted to $2,287,701,583.05, or more than $2.2 billion as reported by the participating companies. The prototype of Airbus Helicopters’ VSR700 unmanned aerial system has performed its first flight at a drone test center in the south of France. The VSR700 performed several take-offs and landings on Friday 8th of November with the longest flight lasting around 10 minutes. The VSR700 was tethered with 100-foot cables to fully secure the flight test zone.
