NTSB Further Impugns Ethiopian 737 MAX Accident Final Report

And Another Thing …

On 27 December 2022, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) took the unusual step of publishing comments it had previously provided to the Ethiopian Aircraft Investigation Bureau (EAIB) regarding the latter agency’s final report on the 10 March 2019 loss of a Boeing 737 MAX-8 aircraft operating as Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302. The NTSB set forth that the EAIB had “failed to include the NTSB’s comments in its final report on its investigation.” On 24 January 2023, the NTSB released additional comments pertaining to the Ethiopian Aircraft Investigation Bureau’s final report on the loss of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302.
