Gogo's 5G Network Is Making Swift Progress

Gogo 5G Will Cover 100% of CONUS and Can Reportedly Transfer ~25 MBPS On Average

Aviation's own inflight 5G communication network is nearing completion. We've been watching the folks at Gogo, avidly, as they seek to build a nation-wide highs-speed data network that beats everything else previously built or proposed. And now, our friend Dave Salvador, tells us that Gogo is rounding third base and heading for home. Gogo is building the world’s first 5G network exclusively for business aviation and as of today, 121 of 150 planned towers are LIVE. Completion is expected before the end of the year.

AD 2022-16-04 Corrects An Airworthiness Directive (AD) That Published In The Federal Register

The FAA is correcting an airworthiness directive (AD) that published in the Federal Register. That AD applies to all Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation (Gulfstream) Model GV and GV-SP airplanes. As published, a revision level and a table number in certain document citations in the Credit for Previous Actions section of the regulatory text are incorrect. This document corrects those errors. In all other respects, the original document remains the same. This correction is effective September 7, 2022. The effective date of AD 2022-16-04 remains September 7, 2022.
