Raisbeck Offering 5-Blade CF Prop STC for King Air 300-360

Carbon Fiber Hartzell Prop is Quieter, Faster, and Lighter than OEM

Raisbeck Engineering has received an STC for the installation of a 5-blade Hartzell turbofan prop on heavyweight King Air 300, 350, and 360 series aircraft. The installation will provide King Air operators with enhanced aircraft performance, particularly in the landing and takeoff phases of flight. Reduced noise levels in the terminal environment, increased cruise speed, and improved stoppage also round out a bevy of promised enhancements.

NTSB Prelim: Rockwell International S-2R

Operator Reported That The Pilot Had Been Flying For About 8 Hours When The Accident Occurred

On March 7, 2023, about 1611 Pacific standard time, a Rockwell International S-2R, N8424V, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Willows, California. The pilot was fatally injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 137 aerial application flight. According to the operator, the pilot was scheduled to spray fungicide over several almond orchards.
