Four Fatally Injured When Helicopter Went Down In Poor Weather
The NTSB has issued its preliminary report from a March 26th medical helicopter accident that fatally injured all four people on board the aircraft, including a patient.
The Simulators Are Convertible Between The Schweizer S300 And The Robinson R44
Frasca International announced it was has received an order for two Helicopter Flight Training Devices (FTDs) for China Flying Dragon General Aviation Co. Ltd, located in the Heilongjiang Province, China. The two S300/R44 FTDs will be convertible between the Schweizer S300 and the Robinson R44.
Grand Caravan Deliveries Have Increased 80 Percent, Company Reports
Three years after establishing a joint venture between Cessna Aircraft Company and China Aviation Industry General Aircraft Company (CAIGA), deliveries of the Cessna Caravan single-engine utility turboprop have increased nearly 80 percent in country.
ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell had a chance to talk with Phil Boyer who had retired as president of AOPA about four years prior to this conversation. The meeting took place at EAA AirVenture 2012 and Boyer simply considered himself just another aviation enthusiast at the event. Campbell starts off by asking Boyer how he feels about general aviation as a pilot and a user of the system. Boyer’s response is that he feels overall general aviation is getting pretty good service from FBOs and from the FAA.
