MD Helicopters MD 530F Demonstrator Goes On Tour

They're Heading For Southern California Next Week

MDHI is taking the MD Helicopters, Inc. enhanced glass cockpit MD530F demo aircraft on a cross-country tour and test flight. This sleek helicopter will be touring the West Coast from Nov. 30 through Dec. 4, and will be available for drop-in demo flights at Rotorcraft Support Inc. (RSI) on Dec. 2 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time as well as special on-site demos in the region during the week. The aircraft will leave the MDHI’s Mesa facility on Nov. 30, visiting a variety of customers throughout Southern California during the week.

TRU Simulation + Training Inc. And Its Operations In Tampa, FL, Are Not Included In The Sale

Textron is selling parts of its TRU Simulation + Training subsidiary. The company has reached a definitive agreement to sell certain of its non-U.S. businesses to CAE Inc., for a cash consideration of US$40 million, excluding post-closing adjustments. Included in the transaction is the sale of TRU Simulation + Training Canada Inc., which includes its Montreal manufacturing operations, as well as ETOPS entities in France and Malaysia and a minority interest in a joint venture in Iceland.
