Airline Hopes His Ops Experience Will Speed Rebound
There are more changes at the top to report for beleaguered
low-cost carrier JetBlue Airways, as it struggles to rebound from a
particularly trouble-plagued winter season.

engines with certain part number (P/N) compressor rear frames
(CRFs) installed.

enough for beleaguered US Airways pilots to pull out from the Air
Line Pilots Association, Int'l in favor of an in-house union, the
US Airline Pilots Association.

It appears longtime employees at Southwest Airlines either
really like their jobs... or are unwilling to give them up and take
a chance in starting over with someone else. The Dallas, TX-based
low-cost carrier reports a mere seven percent of 8,500 workers
eligible for a buyout program -- 607 people -- accepted the
offer.
