Paper Says Delays Caused Key Evidence To Be Lost

The editorial board of the East Bay Times newspaper has written a piece in which they accuse the FAA and Air Canada of dragging their feet in the investigation of an incident July 7 at San Francisco International Airport (KSFO). An Air Canada A320 lined up to land on a taxiway where four aircraft were lined up waiting for takeoff, and initiated a go-around below 60 feet of altitude, according to the NTSB's preliminary report.

Mesa Flight Attendants Fly Under United Express And American Eagle Brands

Mesa Airlines Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), have announced a tentative agreement with Mesa Airlines management. The four year agreement would cover over 1,100 Flight Attendants and includes economic and quality of life gains. The deal was reached with the assistance of the National Mediation Board.

Second Round Of Polling Shows Continued Preference For Private Financing Option And Selection Of Local Firm

A new second round of polling shows a majority of likely Kansas City, Missouri, voters now support a new single-terminal KCI airport. The survey of more than 1,300 Kansas City registered voters conducted Aug. 13-14 across all Kansas City Council Districts showed that 44 percent now support a new terminal while 35 percent oppose and 21 percent are unsure.
