CPI Aerostructures Awarded Contract By Embraer

Will Supply Various Structural Components For E-Jets E2s

CPI Aerostructures has been selected by Embraer S.A. of Brazil to supply various structural components used in the manufacture of engine pylon fairings for the Embraer E175-E2 aircraft, one of the members of the second generation of its E-Jets family of commercial aircraft, the E-Jets E2. CPI Aero has received a binding Go Ahead Notice for the first shipset to be delivered to Embraer during the first quarter of 2017.

Alaska Airlines Moves Forward With Anchorage, AK Maintenance Facility

Local Firm To Design $40 Million, 105,000 Square Foot Hangar

Alaska Airlines has announced plans to build a new $40 million airplane maintenance facility at the site of the current Signature Flight Support building on Old International Airport Road. Located on the east side of the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, the new hangar is located about a half mile from Alaska's existing 37,500-square-foot facility.
