Bombardier Aerospace announced Tuesday that Seattle-based Horizon Air Industries has signed a firm purchase agreement for one Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprop airliner. The airline retains its options on another seven Q400 NextGen aircraft as announced previously. Additionally, Bombardier and Horizon Air confirmed they have signed a five-year heavy maintenance agreement.

Petra Airlines Ltd. of Amman, Jordan has signed a Letter Of Intent (LOI) to acquire up to four CS100 and CS300 airliners. Should the LOI be converted to a firm purchase agreement, the transaction would include two firm-ordered CS100 aircraft and two options for CS300 aircraft.

Boeing Partnership Will Preserve Thousands Of Acres Of SC Wetlands

Has Received Corps Of Engineers Approval For Mitigation Program

Boeing received approval on Friday from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on a comprehensive wetlands mitigation plan to preserve approximately 4,000 acres of land, including more than 2,000 acres of wetlands. The land is on three separate tracts near the Francis Marion National Forest in the South Carolina Lowcountry.
