Carrier Launched Domestic Service In Kazakhstan In July 2015
Bombardier Commercial Aircraft has delivered the first of two Q400 aircraft ordered by Qazaq Air JSC of Kazakhstan (Qazaq Air) in 2017. The order followed Qazaq Air’s successful launch of domestic service in Kazakhstan in July 2015, using three leased Q400 aircraft.
Air Lease Corporation has delivered one new Airbus A321-200neo LR aircraft on long-term lease to Air Arabia. Featuring CFM International LEAP-1A engines, this aircraft is the first of six A321-200neo LRs scheduled to deliver to Air Arabia through 2020 from ALC’s order book with Airbus. This A321-200neo LR is also ALC’s first Airbus long-range A321neo to deliver to the Lessor.
Portfolio Was Comprised Of Airbus A320 And Boeing B737 Aircraft
Fly Leasing Limited has completed the sale of a portfolio of 12 aircraft for an aggregate price of approximately $295 million. The portfolio was comprised of Airbus A320 and Boeing B737 narrow-body aircraft with an average age of over 10 years.
The FAA has posted a draft report from the Boeing 737 MAX Flight Standardization Board. The FSB reviewed only the training aspects related to software enhancements to the aircraft. The report is open to public comment for 14 days, with the comment period ending April 30. After that, the FAA will review those comments before making a final assessment.
