Growing Hong Kong Carrier Doubles Down on Boeing
A Hong Kong based carrier has bolstered its fleet of Boeings with a stout order for 15 737-9 aircraft, with another agreement to purchase 5 787 Dreamliners. Greater Bay Airlines has been operating a fleet of 3 737-800s throughout its brief life so far, flying to Bangkok, Taipei, Tokyo, and Seoul. With expansion plans in the near future, the company expects to source additional 737-800s to slot in before the delivery of the newest batch of 737-9s.
