Agreement was reached within CAEP on a new aeroplane CO2 certification requirement, as well as a new global noise standard that will result in quieter skies and airports.

Recognized Safety Expert Joins Organization From Compass Airlines
Airlines for America (A4A) has named Mark Millam as Managing Director for Safety. Millam, who brings 30 years of experience in airline operations and safety, joins A4A from Compass Airlines, where he was director of safety and compliance and responsible for implementing the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Safety Management System (SMS) pilot program. Previously, Millam was the managing director of safety at Northwest Airlines during the Delta/Northwest integration, where he managed the safety alliance between Delta and its Delta Connection carriers.
