Areas of the United States have been hit with unusually fierce storm activity this week, with one brief window of intense winds seeing the evacuation of the Kansas City Air Traffic Control Tower for a short time on December 15. Model ERJ 190-100 STD, -100 LR, -100 ECJ, -100 IGW, -200 STD, -200 LR, and -200 IGW airplanes. AD 2014-16-16 required, for certain airplanes, retorquing and replacing the pylon lower link fittings, and for all airplanes, repetitive retorquing of those fittings.
