Aeroflot, the Russian flag carrier, has signed a contract with
Airbus for the purchase of seven A321 aircraft for its medium-haul
fleet modernisation programme. Deliveries of the newly ordered
aircraft are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2006.

No, this isn't another story about the United pilot who was
pulled from the cockpit in Miami this weekend allegedly smelling of
alcohol, or even those two America West guys now serving time for
TWI (taxiing while intoxicated) -- although one could argue this
was somewhat inspired by them.
