Battery Shows Signs Of Short-Circuiting, Board Says
In a news conference Thursday, NTSB Chair Deborah A.P. Hersman released preliminary findings from the NTSB’s ongoing investigation into the Jan. 7, 2013, Boeing 787 battery fire in Boston. “We have not ruled anything out as a potential factor in the battery fire; there are still many questions to be answered,” Hersman said.
Contract Will Go Out For Ratification By The Airline's 6,800 Flight Attendants
US Airways today announced that it has reached a new tentative agreement on a collective bargaining agreement with the Association of flight attendants (AFA), which represents the airline's 6,800 mainline flight attendants. Details of the agreement were made available by AFA.
