A remotely piloted aircraft carrying a NASA sensor flew over
much of California last week, gathering information that will be
used to help fight more than 300 wildfires burning within the
state. Additional flights are planned for this week as well,
as large areas of the Golden State continue to burn.

Raytheon will lead a team of air transportation experts from
industry and academia to study the impact of new classes of
aircraft on the next generation air transportation system, or
NextGen.

Astronomers recently uncovered an extreme stellar machine -- a
galaxy in the very remote universe pumping out stars at a
surprising rate of up to 4,000 per year. In comparison, our own
Milky Way galaxy turns out an average of just 10 stars per
